Steele Point is a private neighbour to Gestalt Villa, hugging
the hillside on different levels of spacious living accommodation.
At the entrance to West End Bay, the villa is directly above the
sea. Views from the many verandas towards the islands of St. John,
St. Thomas, Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay and Green Cay are spectacular.
The stretch of coastline below is a favourite fishing area for
pelicans.
Wooden steps connect each level and lead to a private jetty and
swimming deck; the swimming pool and surrounding sun-bathing verandah
are on the upper level of the villa. Steele Point would not be
suitable for toddlers. The villa’s owner is a prominent sculptor
and the expansive gardens and terraces of frangipani, palm trees,
oleander and hibiscus are home to classical and modern stone sculptures. |
