In order to understand the issues involved with sexual and reproductive function after a spinal cord injury (SCI), one must first understand normal reproductive function and, secondly, how an injury to the spinal cord affects that function. Therefore, the purpose of this publication is to provide background and current information about research to improve male reproductive function.
