How the Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas, conducts its life-saving research and patient care in the battle against childhood cancers. Admission to the Hospital is limited only by the requirements that children are: referred by a physician; suffering from a disease under study for which they have not had extensive treatment; not older than age 18. Once admitted, children receive total medical care for their illness despite the high cost of treatment.
