PARENTING A DIABETIC CHILD: THE VIDEO

Based on Gloria Loring's essential book, "Parenting a Diabetic Child." It is a personal, parent-to-parent talk about living with the emotional and psychological challenge of diabetes. It is divided into three sections: Diagnosis, Coming Home, and What Lies Ahead. All the material presented has been reviewed by diabetes educators and endocrinologists. In addition to Ms. Loring's advice, the video features parents and children from diverse cultural backgrounds offering encouragement and hope. This project is made possible by a generous grant from Eli Lilly and Company, and Boehringer Mannheim.
