HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE: NURSE'S PERSPECTIVE

Filmed at Middlesex Hospital in Waltham, Massachusetts. At Middlesex there is an inpatient Huntington's Disease population of approximately 25. They are helped by a staff who has much experience in the daily management of the illness. Issues related to nutrition, adaptive equipment, group activities, etc. are dealt with in a concrete, hands-on approach to helping patients maintain quality of life.
